Boh Cooper is a rare breed in the music industry — not only a gifted artist, but a kind, generous, and humble human being. He was born in Pensacola, FL, and spent several years honing his craft in music and piano at University of Central Florida and St. Petersburg Junior College. In 1986, Boh attended Belmont College in Nashville to study piano and classical performance; he never left Nashville. Boh made a name for himself as a great piano player and singer, as well as a songwriter, arranger, and orchestrator. He has worked with The Imperials, Kim Carnes, Michael W. Smith, Rascal Flatts, Barry Manilow, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Todd Rundgren. Since 2006, he has been on the road with Peter Cetera, formerly of the band Chicago, playing keyboards and serving as musical director. In 2009, Cetera introduced Boh to the legendary “Hitman” David Foster (arranger, composer, and producer for artists Barbra Streisand, Michael Buble, Seal, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and Celine Dion). Foster hired Boh to play keyboards and currently, Boh supports Foster as his programmer, arranger, and musical director. Through his association with Foster, Boh has had the opportunity to work with Seal, Chaka Khan, Andrea Bocelli, and Jackie Evancho.
I met Boh Cooper through a mutual friend in September 2018; we both felt that fate brought us together. It has been a joy working with this talented man. His arrangements are lush and interesting and bring new life to the songs I have been singing for years. His gift is writing beautiful orchestrations that not only allow me to soar, but also highlight the virtuosity and musicality of my amazing band. I am grateful to him for not only believing in me, but for putting his whole heart and soul into this project.
The band and I look forward to bringing ON MY WAY TO NOW to your city.
